ORANGE, Calif. (Aug. 25, 2016) - NABA Champion Danny Roman (19-2-1, 7 KOs) weighed in at 122 lbs., while challenger Enrique Quevedo (16-7-1, 10 KOs) measured 121.4 lbs. at Thursday's "New Blood" weigh in.
"I'm expecting a tough and rugged fight," said Roman, who is defending his title for the fourth time. "Quevedo is going to bring it, and so am I."
Roman vs. Quevedo is the 10-round main event that originates Friday night from the Omega Products Events Center in Corona, Calif.
In the co-feature, heavyweight LaRon Mitchell (13-0, 13 KOs) meets Mario Heredia (14-4, 12 KOs) in a fight scheduled for 8-rounds. Mitchell weighed in at 244.8 lbs., and Heredia tipped the scales at 274.2 lbs.
