OFFICIALS FOR THE NONITO DONAIRE VS ZSOLT BEDAK WBO JUNIOR FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST ANNOUNCED

SAN JUAN, PR-(04/20/16)- The World Boxing Organization (WBO) announced today the referees, judges, and supervisors that will work the two WBO Championship Contests to be held on Saturday, April 23 at the Cebu City Sports Complex in Cebu, Philippines, as part of a promotion billed “The Time Has Come.”

WBO Asia Pacific Vice President, Leon Panoncillo, Jr. will be the supervisor in attendance for the evening’s main event featuring 5-time world champion and current WBO Jr. Featherweight Champion Nonito “Filipino Flash” Donaire defending his title against WBO #4 Classified Contender Zsolt Bedak, of Budapest Hungary. Judging the fight will be Hernando Steidel of Yabucoa, PR, Robin Taylor of Brooklyn, NY, and William Lerch of Chicago, IL. The third man in the ring will be Las Vega’s Russell Mora.

Meanwhile in the co-main event, pitting former WBO Youth Champion Mark Magsayo and former world championship contender Chris Avalos with the Vacant WBO International Featherweight Title in the line, the supervisor will also be Leon Panoncillo, Jr. while the appointed judges are Salven Lagumbay, Katsihiko Nakamura and Greg Ortega. Danrex Tapdasanwill be the referee.
